What is wrong with my husband!? Crayon on the couch -> husband flipping out!?!?

So my 2 year old accidentally got some crayon on the couch. He didn't mean to, and it's just a little bit. Fine, whatever, all things can be cleaned - it's annoying, but I'm totally not gonna stress about it. However, my husband sees it and goes, "Can you get this cleaned up TONIGHT????" It's already 11:30 at night, we don't have any guests coming over in the next few days, and there's just no urgency about this matter. It's not even the type of stain that's going to set in, not like red wine or something. Sure, maybe if I was SUPER ANAL I'd drop everything and sacrifice sleep to start busting a$$ immediately to get it clean, but WTF, it's not worth it. So I'm like, "No, this can be cleaned anytime; I'm not gonna stay up tonight and do it."

Hes definately stressed out about something - not just the couch. I think the couch is what brought it out to the surface. You should wait till morning and ask him WTF is going on with him.

If its any consolation - my baby is 16 months, we have a relatively new dog, his brother is a college dropout and drug user, and his mother is a nut case.... between all those things - he was about ready to get rid of the dog because it had an accident on the TILE floor!!

Ive been where you are - just try to talk to him in the morning after hes had a chance to chill out.
