Genetic Transformation?

For a science project in school me and my lab buddy have to create a poster that is against genetic transformation, and we have found a few reasons but we need more. One of them is that if we modify certain plants with a substance or a gene that effects the consumer, it will kill it or make them sick. Another is that if we genetically transform a plant or fruit, its seeds may spread and make a new species of plant that could throw off the ecosystem because it wouldnt have a place in the food chain, and everything needs a place in the food chain. Another one we had was that a farmer who has and organic farm as oppses to a farmer with a non organic farm, their pollen form their pants could drift to the other farm and mess up their farm. Or just mixed pollination. We need more and better ideas, anyone care to help?

In molecular biology, transformation usually applies to the insertion of plasmid DNA into bacteria. The DNA you put in the bacteria is connected to DNA that is resistant to certain antibiotics. This is how you screen for the bacteria with your DNA in it ( the ones that don't have the antibiotic resistance will die when you add the antibiotic). A serious problem could occur due to the development of bacteria with antibiotic resistance, as we wouldn't be able to kill them as easily. I would say something about how someone could end up developing a bacteria that you couldn't kill with antibiotics. You could also argue against genetic transformation because it could be used to engineer biological weapons.
