Learning How to Accelerate Your Debt Payment
Speeding up the debt repayment process is called an accelerated debt payoff and that's something every person who owes money should know about. It's a way to get out of debt faster and easier.
It doesn't matter whether all the debt you have is in your mortgage, or whether you have lines of credit or credit card debt, you can use an accelerated debt payoff plan to shorten the amount of time you spend paying your debt, and more importantly, you will spend less money servicing your debt, too.
Here's how it works. You make your regular payments when servicing your debt and then you add additional funds to that debt every month to save interest and pay it off more quickly. This can save you thousands of dollars.
If you're talking about accelerated debt payoff for your mortgage, things can get a little tricky. Some mortgages don't allow for you to make lump sum payments, increase your payments or stipulate that you can only pay up to a certain amount at certain times over the course of the mortgage. If you want to pay off your mortgage faster, talk to your financial institution to see if you can work around the fine print.
If you don't have a lot of debt, such as one credit card or a line of credit, you can do an accelerated debt payoff very easily. Just pay your minimum payment and then add extra money to that payment each month.
If you have multiple creditors, you should consider consolidating your debt. In this way, you can access a lower interest rate and lower monthly payments. This will give you cash-in-hand every month, which you can turn around and add to your payment schedule. That means you are saving more in interest and paying off more of the money you actually owe your creditors, not just the future interest.
If you don't want to consolidate your debt, or can't consolidate your debt, you can still do an accelerated debt payoff. Simply analyze your debt situation. See which creditor charges the highest interest and start by adding the extra payments to that debt until it is eliminated. Then move on to the next highest interest rate. Continue in this way until you are debt-free. And don't forget to make the minimum payments to the other creditors in the meantime.
To determine how much extra money you can put toward an accelerated debt payoff subtract all of your anticipated expenses from all of your anticipated earnings. Don't forget to include money for entertainment or other fun outings. Then you will know how much extra money you have each month that can be contributed toward debt. Usually this extra money is spent frivolously without a second thought. It is a very good idea to put this money to good use.

What are some fun games to help my 4 year old learn the abc's?
Im getting so stressed out with this, my daughter is starting kinder garden this year and has to recognize all the letters of the alphabet. For the past 10 months I have been going over the letters Daily, and she is not absorbing any of it! Every one says repeat, repeat, repeat!, But she still only recognizes about 4 of the letters. I have gotten flash cards and activity books. I have even made her write the letters on paper many times over hoping she will get it, but she doesn't. I was hoping some body might have some good abc games or something that might possibly help make it a bit more fun and not so frustrating for her. She is a VERY smart kid, she can put together 200 piece puzzles faster than me most times, and figure highly complicated mazes in a matter of minutes, she even learned addition and subtraction really quick too. Please help any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
Also she can sing the abc's she just doesnt recognize the the letters them selves.
Who's to say that she doesn't know them...she may just feel that you want her to know them and is resisting showing that she does. My son is like that so I see it in everyone's kids. 
But, seriously, if she knows how to add and subtract, chances are she probably knows a lot more of those letters than she's letting on.
That being said, maybe she's just not into letters, so you have to go back to basics and make it fun for her, so that she wants to learn them. We have a fishing ABC's game that is fun from Lakeshore Learning (first link). It's really a teacher's aid type deal as it has four fishing poles, but the letters really do float in water, are magnetic and the kids fish for them. You can play all sorts of games, have her fish for this letter or that one, etc. There's something similar, I don't have it personally, that is a cardboard game type version from Discovery Toys, but I have read a lot of good reviews on it (see second link).
Leap Frog does a lot of good things...the Magnetic Fridge Phonics set (third link) is great and helped my son learn his letters. In fact, as we read a book before bed tonight, he looked at the "O" and began singing, "O says Ohhhh. O says Ohhh. Every letter makes a sound..." If your daughter is into TV, they also have a DVDs that play into letters and reading ... the Letter Factory, the Word Factory etc. They have accompanying board games, books, electronic games. Just google it and you'll come up with tons of links.
And, of course, read to her, a lot. Point out letters in the books. Make the connection that these letters are how you are able to tell the story. Make it fun. Make her interested and she'll want to pick it up.
Oh, and her name, you can start with her name. Have her help you make her name and hang it in her room, get some of those wooden letters from the craft store and paint them/decorate them together, then hang them in her room, identifying each letter. Or, draw some on some paper and frame them. Or, even cut some out of colored construction paper and string them up. Then, be sure to point them out daily, ask her to tell you what the letters are, indentifying them again until she can tell you etc.
